I didn't want to pay for £1.6k Jimmy Choos so made my own with a glue gun
A FASHION fan has shared how she recreated her own Jimmy Choo's £1.6k Sacaria shoes for a fraction of the price.
The DIY whizz was desperate to wear the shoes on her wedding day so made her own.
Miranda Mirele who goes by @pineapple_princess_tok online said she fell in love with the shoes as soon as she saw them but didn't want to pay the hefty price tag.
She said in a TikTok: "I saw these Jimmy Choo heels and I knew I had to have them for my wedding, but not for the 2000 dollar price tag."
The Jimmy Choo Sacaria sandals are selling for a staggering £1,600 online and are covered in white satin and pearls.
Like most of us the fashion fan didn't have that much money to waste on a pair of shoes but she still really wanted to wear the shoes on her wedding day.
The DIY whizz then decided to make her own version using a pair of heels she found in a charity shop.
Miranda said: "So I made my own. I had so many questions on how I made these shoes, so I decided to make another pair.
"But this time it's going to be more accessible because I am using thrifted heels."
She said: "This is my most viral shoe upcycle I've ever done and I am so excited to show you all how to make them."
After thrifting a pair of cream heels Miranda grabbed a glue gun and added each pearl by hand.
She confirmed that the DIY shoes cost her just £40 to make.
